Hallo, my name is Daantje Elizabeth Taekje and I am the founder of D.E.T.AIL.
I started this project when I was 18 years old and this year I’m turning 20. What first started as a school project quickly became something I wanted to turn into reality.

I have had a passion for styling and design ever since I was young. At 17, I attended the Amsterdam Fashion Academy, where I spent a year learning everything about both the business and design side of the fashion industry.

I am currently in my second year at Akademie Vogue, which is also where the beginning of D.E.T.AIL was created. My first collection was presented in the Posthoornkerk in Amsterdam.

With D.E.T.AIL, I want to create clothing for women who like to stand out and who love things that are different from what is considered normal. That is something I have always been drawn to myself. Because of that, I mostly create pieces that I personally find inspiring, unique and exciting.

At the same time, I think it is very important to give personal attention to every piece. That is why I decided to create a ONE OF ONE restyling concept, where I personally design and make unique pieces on request. You can find more about this under the O/O Restyling section.

Through this, I hope to build a personal connection with my customers, because in the end, that is the most important thing to me.
